All the pieces on this page are delft clay cast. This is three castings from a nectarine nut that had split open naturally. I've added a hinge and there are two neodynium magnets to hold it shut. It rattles when closed. Behind it is a solid silver cast nut.

These are solid and pin barrelled to clean them after casting.

Seeds

Here are some cast seeds - from the top clockwise - pecan, walnut and almond. These are decorative on their own, but I have used seeds as the finials of spoons, pendants and for cufflinks.
